HETRICK HOUSE MINISTRIES

1/  We believe in One God, the Everywhere Present, Invisible Spirit; Most Holy, Most High, and Most near, Almighty and Eternal; Maker, Sustainer and Ruler of all creatures and things, both seen and unseen; the Source of all goodness, beauty, truth and love.  He makes Himself visible on his Throne in the City of Heaven as Yahovah, (Yahweh) the heavenly Father of righteous, obedient saints.  Even so, the Heaven of heavens cannot contain Him.

2/  We believe Jesus Christ was the visible appearing on earth of our Invisible Spirit God, in a body of mortal flesh, to shed Divine Blood that can wash away our sins.  In death, the Spirit left the body.  The body was buried, and the Spirit went to the place of departed spirits.  Then with the keys of hell and death, He led the righteous souls, including the penitent thief, to paradise.  The Spirit also raised, glorified, and re-entered the body of Jesus Christ, then went to Heaven, making the way for us to follow. Jesus Christ will return with the Father and take us to Heaven.

3/  We believe the Holy Spirit is God, One Everywhere Present Invisible Spirit, Who reveals Himself as Father in Heaven, and as Savior of man.  Although the Universe cannot contain Him, still He desires to dwell in His finite saints, to remind them of His teachings through Jesus Christ, and of their salvation by Divine Blood.  He teaches, guides, comforts, inspires and empowers.  He respects obedience, but not persons.

4/  We believe sins are forgiven when a serious prayer of repentance and confession of sin is offered to God.    We believe a true Christian will forsake sin, seek and obey God and follow Jesus to Heaven.

5/  We believe the Old and New Testaments are the preserved, correct and complete Word of God.  When studied and obeyed, God's Word brings faith, righteousness, health, wisdom, knowledge and eternal life in God's visible presence, with fullness of joy, and pleasures forevermore.

6/  We believe in the fellowship of saints, for encouragement and worship, and for instruction in righteousness and service, and for a witness to unbelievers.

7/  We believe the Kingdom of God and of Heaven is a Celestial City where the Eternal Spirit reveals Himself as our Father in Heaven, sitting on a Throne, and as our glorified Savior, Friend and Elder Brother, Who sits at the Father's right hand and also walks among His glorified saints,.  From this Eternal Kingdom, God exercises Divine rule in all human society.  Those who wish to see and enter this eternal Kingdom must have received the gift of salvation and have an indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
